What I Do
I work one-on-one with young men ages 12-22. Some are off track, disengaged, or struggling to find their footing. Others are doing well but want to go deeper—to build a more meaningful connection to Jewish wisdom and practice.
Through weekly mentoring sessions, I help them:
- Take responsibility for their choices, their time, and their commitments
- Build connections that matter—with themselves, their families, their communities
- Set real goals and learn how to pursue them honestly
- Develop self-awareness and the tools to grow
- Engage with Jewish wisdom as a relevant resource for building a meaningful life
This isn't about making your son more observant. It's about helping him become more grounded, more capable, and more engaged with the life he's building—whether he's getting back on track or taking his growth to the next level.
Why Me
I'm a rabbi, a certified youth life coach, and a mentor with 25 years of experience working with young men. I've taught in Jewish high schools, worked at the Hillel of a major university, tutored and mentored teens one-on-one, and guided a wide variety of young men through major life decisions and transitions.
I know Jewish text and tradition deeply—and I know how to make it speak to young men who think it has nothing to say to them. I'm real with them. I see the good in them. And I don't coddle them.
Most importantly: I understand what it's like to build an authentic Jewish life from the ground up. I'm not asking your son to do something I haven't done myself.
How It Works
Weekly one-on-one sessions (virtual or in-person if local)
6-12 week commitments (with option to extend)
$120-150 per hour
We start with an initial conversation to see if this is the right fit. Then we get to work.
